Clermont

The City of Clermont is a western suburb of Orlando in Lake County, located approximately 22 miles west of the City of Orlando. The current population is 23,476.

The City is essentially residential in character and its economy is primarily centered in retail trade as well as lodging and food and beverage establishments, which are tourism oriented. Its picturesque parks and neighborhoods are surrounded by natural wonders and a thriving downtown commercial center.

The Florida Citrus Tower, one of the first constructed Florida landmarks, is located here. The many lakes, including the Clermont Chain of Lakes, rolling hills and spacious landscape make this a very unique side of Greater Orlando. Clermont is also home of the Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards.
