Groveland

Groveland is a city nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of south Lake County, FL, 27 miles west of Downtown Orlando. The population as of 2004 was 4,589. 

It has grown rapidly over the last few years with many of the new residents coming from the Metro Orlando area. These new citizens move here to provide their families with a more secure and sedate way of life. Groveland prides itself on being a city where children can safely ride their bikes throughout the neighborhood without causing their parents constant worry, a place where your neighbor shares more with you than just a space on a street block. Groveland may be a developing community, but it still maintains that old southern small town appeal.
