Maitland

Maitland is a city in Orange County, FL, located 14 miles north of Orlando. The population was 14,172 at the 2006 census. It is one of the oldest incorporated municipalities in Central and the center of many well established businesses. 

The City is the home to Central Florida's only full time independent movie theater, Enzian Theater, itself home to the Florida Film Festival. Maitland is also home to the Maitland Art Center, which is listed on the National Record of Historic Places for its unique Mayan and Aztec sculptures, murals, and bas reliefs.

Maitland provides plenty of oudoor, cultural and historic recreation for the entire family, as well as a vast selection of dining, shopping and entertainment options. It has a history of strong residential identity, sustained by the beauty of the area and the diverse economy.
